Child Family Health International has been expanding the knowledge and skills of Global Health trainees and young professionals for nearly 35 years. In alignment with our commitment to delivering exceptional global health programs, we are excited to present the Friends of the Philippines Scholarship Fund.

This scholarship is made possible by a generous gift from CFHI alumna Dr. Arlene Silverio and her husband Jeffrey Hurd. It supports learners with a connection to the Philippines in accessing CFHI’s long-standing, dynamic Global Health in the Philippines program. Dr. Silverio herself was deeply impacted by her global health experiences in the Philippines, Hawai’i, and elsewhere. She knows that increasing access to these opportunities for others will have lifelong impacts on both learners and the communities they connect with.
